Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data AMW Design collects when you visit this website or contact us, why, and what your rights are. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, in French nLPD), in force since 1 September 2023.

2. Data we collect

When you visit the website. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time, page visited, browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the site securely and is deleted after a short period.

When you use the contact, audit or newsletter form. We receive the data you enter: name, company, email address, phone number, website, the services you are interested in and your message. We use it only to answer your request, prepare a proposal or send you the newsletter you asked for.

When you accept cookies. If, and only if, you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to measure visits (see section 4).

3. Why we use your data

  • to answer your requests and communicate with you
  • to prepare and carry out a contract with you
  • to send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • to keep the website secure and working
  • with your consent: to understand how visitors use the website and improve it

We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

Without your consent, this website only uses what is strictly necessary for it to work (for example remembering your cookie choice in your browser).

If you accept, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Ltd (Ireland) and Google LLC (USA). It sets cookies that help us count visits and see which pages are useful. Data may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, which Switzerland recognises as providing an adequate level of protection.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

5. Hosting and service providers

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, in Switzerland. These providers only process data on our behalf and according to our instructions.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep contact requests as long as needed to answer them and for the follow-up of our business relationship. Accounting documents are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss law. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

Under the FADP, you can at any time:

  • ask what data we hold about you (right of access)
  • ask us to correct or delete your data
  • object to the processing of your data or withdraw your consent
  • ask to receive your data in a common format (data portability)

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) on the whole website.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
